She completed MBBS, MD (General Medicine) and DM (Nephrology) from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. She worked as Senior Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine at Government Medical College from 2010 to 2012. She is currently working as a Senior Consultant in Nephrology. Her areas of interest include renal transplantation, management of acute and chronic kidney diseases, interventional nephrology, haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
