General Medicine
The Department of General Medicine in our hospital was established in the year 1982. It is a well established department with a faculty of 8 well qualified Medical Experts. The Department is responsible for providing frontline diagnostic support for patients with a wide range of illness. It also manages a wide variety of medical illness ranging from the common cold to life threatening infections, metabolic disturbances, connective tissues disorders, diabetes etc.
We have Out Patient clinics in the morning and evening on all days and also receive emergency admission through the Emergency Medicine Unit. The Department is strengthened by the presence of eminent retired Professors of General Medicine from the Govt. Medical Colleges who are a source of invaluable knowledge and experience. They impart teaching and training to DNB postgraduates.
