Dr. M Narendranathan is a well known Medical Gastro-enterologist in the state of Kerala. With a distinguished career in academics and clinical practice spanning over three decades, he is currently Senior Consultant in Gastroenterology at Cosmopolitan Hospital in Trivandrum.
Dr. Narendranathan completed his MBBS and MD from Medical College, Trivandrum, and then obtained the DM superspeciality degree from prestigious the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. Dr. Narendranathan held the post of Professor and Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at Medical College, Trivandrum, for several years. He was also Chairman of the Project Review Committee of the Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, from 2002 to 2015, and has held many other important posts, including President of the Indian Clinical Epidemiology Network and Member of the Board of Directors of the International Clinical Epidemiology Network.
Dr. Narendranathan has numerous research publications to his name, either as first author or co-author, in prominent national and international indexed journals. He was awarded the Commonwealth Fellowship for training in GI techniques and the Rockefeller Fellowship in Clinical Epidemiology.
