Dr. VENUGOPAL B

Dr. Venugopal had his MBBS in 1989 from Medical College, Trivandrum. Dr. Venugopal B took his MS (General Surgery) from the same institution in 1992 as the best outgoing postgraduate student. Subsequently Dr. Venugopal B took his MCh ( G I Surgery) in 1998 from Medical College Trivandrum in its first batch. Thereafter Dr. Venugopal B had worked in tertiary G I surgery centers like Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi and PVC Memorial Hospital, Kochi, before going abroad for further training. In UK Dr. Venugopal B had 2 year fellowship training in multi organ (Liver, Kidney, Pancreas) transplantation at the prestigious Adden Brooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. Dr. Venugopal B also had a short shift at King’s College Hospital London, the largest liver transplant unit in Europe. Dr. Venugopal B had further training in Liver Donor transplantation from ASAN Medical Center, Seoul, korea (the Largest LDLT center in the world) and Queen Mary hospital Hong Kong. He was working as Chief Liver Transplant Surgeon at Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi. Dr. Venugopal has vast experiences in surgical conditions of liver, Biliary Tract and Pancreas. Dr. Venugopal B also had vast experience in managing surgical conditions of upper and lower G I Tract. Dr. Venugopal B also performs advanced laparoscopic surgeries of Hepatobiliary tract and Pancreas
